United Commercial Bank Limited is a leading private bank in Bangladesh and had custom application such as PMIS, PF/DL, Loan Management, Payroll etc using FoxPro.

The customer needed to upgrade & integrate the modules and migrate its backend database to Oracle. Convince Computer have a strong exposure in Oracle. The challenge faced by Convince Computer was that the FoxPro database had invalid and duplicate data and there was minimal documentation available. Convince Computer's team had to rely on their Oracle and FoxPro skills so that the migration of data was smooth.

Our team had to ensure that the target database was designed and data ported in a way to avoid loss of data. The team also had to redevelop all the front-end applications using Oracle Developer.
